Zhou Xiaoping
Zhou Xiaoping is an accomplished educator and translator specializing in cross-cultural knowledge exchange between Eastern and Western traditions. She graduated with a degree in English Linguistics & Translation from Xiamen University and is currently completing the Executive Master of Global Management MBA program at Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.
As co-founder of Classics Soft Power in Shenzhen and the Pure Gold Classics Translation Project, she has developed innovative training programs that have educated hundreds of translators in classical Asian languages and business terminology. Her academic contributions include a comprehensive 358-page translation of Je Tsongkapa’s seminal work The Essence of the Ocean: A Classical Summary of Buddhist Ethics, including commentary by Gyal Kenpo Drakpa Gyeltsen.
Currently serving as professor at Sedona College of International Management, Professor Zhou plays a pivotal role in curriculum development at Diamond Silk Entrepreneur University (DSEU), where she integrates classical philosophical frameworks with contemporary business education models. Her work emphasizes practical applications of ancient wisdom in modern organizational leadership and ethical entrepreneurship.
Geshe Michael Roach
Michael Roach was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with honors from Princeton University, and is a recipient of the Presidential Scholar medallion from the President of the United States at the White House. He has also received the McConnell Scholarship Prize from the Princeton School of Public & International Affairs, as well as an honorary doctorate in the Congress of Mexico from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Michael is the first foreigner in the 600-year history of Tibet’s Sera Mey Monastery to receive the title of Geshe (Master of Buddhism), after 25 years of study. After graduation, he founded the Asian Classics Institute (ACI), translating over 20,000 pages of the geshe course and designing 36 courses of studies in English, for modern people of all walks of life.
At his teacher’s directive, Michael helped in 1981 to found Andin International Corporation, which became one of the largest diamond jewelry companies in the world, and was purchased by super-investor Warren Buffett in 2009. Michael used the majority of his income from the business to found and run the Asian Classics Input Project (now called ALL, or Asian Legacy Library), starting in 1987 – the largest free, online searchable database of ancient Asian literature in the world.
Michael has helped found numerous institutions including Three Jewels Outreach Center, DCI Global, Sedona College of International Management, Yoga Studies Institute, Diamond Mountain Retreat Center, DSEU University, and the Diamond Cutter Classics translation center. He is the author of some 100 books and major translations, with his most popular works including The Diamond Cutter: The Buddha on Managing Your Business & Your Life and How Yoga Works.
Stanley Chen
Stanley Chen is an accomplished scholar and educator specializing in integrating classical Asian wisdom with contemporary business practices. As the Founding Vice President of Diamond Silk Entrepreneur University (DSEU), he is currently pursuing the Executive Master of Global Management MBA at Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Born in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, Chen completed his university education in
Guangzhou before undertaking systematic study of ancient Asian literature under the guidance of classical masters. Early in his career, he established the renowned Pure Gold Classics Translation Project dedicated to preserving and translating classical texts. As one of the inaugural translators at Arizona’s Diamond Cutter Classics Translation Center, he is currently working on a significant commentary elucidating the ancient teachings of Abhidharma.
Chen’s scholarly achievements have earned him directorship positions at two prestigious institutions: he serves as Board Director of the Asian Legacy Library and Executive Director of Diamond Mountain Retreat Center. Concurrently, he holds professorships at Sedona College of International Management and serves as Business Development Director for Greater China at DCI Global.
A pioneer in bridging ancient wisdom with modern education, Chen founded the innovative Classics Soft Power program. His recent initiatives include launching “Innovation Retreats” and “Dunhuang West” – groundbreaking programs that adapt traditional contemplative practices for contemporary corporate structures and future business applications.
